US stocks raise
London: 5 October 2023 (TraderMade): US stocks rise, and Nasdaq leads the stock market rebound on Wednesday, 4 October. Nasdaq gained over 1%.
The Nasdaq was at 13,092.92 at the beginning of yesterday. It reached 13,258.76. It shows a gain of 176 points and a rise of about 1.35%.
Similarly, the S&P 500 index managed to elevate from 4,226.20 on 3 October to 4,263.34 on 4 October.
Reasons behind this hike
The latest US economic data showed that the private payrolls increased less than anticipated in September. Similarly, US treasury yields eased off of a 16-year high.
Investors were worried about the Federal Reserve System's rising interest rates. Yet, the National Employment Report brought some relief and caused a positive sentiment among the investing community.
Weaker-than-expected economic data and treasury yields easing brought a slight positive shift in popular US stock indices.
