US Jobs Report

London: 6 October 2023 (TraderMade): The United States Bureau of Statistics released the US job report for September today at 12:30 PM GMT. The US economy added 336,000 jobs in September.
Similarly, the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.8%. The bureau also reported a wage growth of 4.2% y/y.
The jobs created in September are way higher than anticipated. Yet, the job report highlights that the labor market is not cooling the way the Fed would expect in its combat against inflation.
