ECB policy maker says rate cycle is probably over

London: 4 October 2023 (TraderMade): The European Central Bank Governing Council Member, Mario Centeno, said the interest rate hike cycle is likely over. The inflation across the eurozone is decreasing faster than it has risen.
He told media reporters in Lisbon that the rate cycle is over as the ECB has taken timely initiatives. The monetary tightening measures have succeeded in keeping inflation in control.
